After over a year of stakeholder input, a draft set of recommendations for the 5-County Regional Transportation Study is available for your review and input. There are two ways to provide input on Thursday, January 21, 2010.
ONLINE MEETING: Use your computer to view a presentation and submit your questions and comments electronically from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. on 1/21/10. Participants need to register in advance and must have access to a computer and internet connection. Registering for the 5-County Study Online Meeting is easy. You will see the same presentation as you would at a live public meeting but with the convenience of viewing right on your computer.
- Register online at http://kdot.inetcommunicator.net/ You will receive a confirmation email with all the information you need to make sure you're ready to go on the day of the event. If you encounter any problems registering or logging into the event, contact Web Meet Live Support at 503-232-0824.
- Login a few minutes before 3:00 p.m. on January 21st http://kdot.inetcommunicator.net/
- Gather a group in your office or home to discuss the presentation. During the live presentation, you will be able to download handouts and formulate your questions to submit as a group.
IN-PERSON MEETING: If you like to eat cookies and talk with folks in person, come to one of the 5 meeting sites listed below from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. on January 21, 2010. You will see the same presentation as that shown online from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m., but will discuss the presentation with others at your site. The 5 meeting locations will be linked together and all participants will hear the comments generated from each of the 5 locations live.

Community Dialogue Public Meetings
If you were unable to attend one of the Community Dialogue meetings, you can still provide your comments. Please help us determine what your values are in the 5-County regional transportation system by answering this survey of eleven questions. This survey can be downloaded, completed and then mailed, faxed or scanned/emailed it to Angela Pritchett.
During our Community Dialogue meetings in each county, we held discussions about regional transportation. These discussions promoted deliberation about regional transportation, fueled by the values of the participants. A problem statement was presented with three possible approaches that each had a foundation for action, and each action had consequences and trade-offs to be considered.
